John Lee has an extensive record of helping companies, organizations and individuals raise their profiles and drive business results through public relations initiatives.

At Goodman Media International, Lee focuses on professional services, international business expanding to the U.S. market, higher education, and B2B clients, with an emphasis on thought leadership programs that elevate organizations and their key spokespeople.

At GMI, he has worked with intellectual property, tax, and environmental practices of the international law firm Alston & Bird; the advisory, assurance, and tax firm CohnReznick; executive recruiter WittKieffer’s higher education practice; Columbia Business School and Cambridge University; cultural organizations such as The Paley Center for Media, and international businesses navigating the U.S. market including Scope Eyecare, Allergy Standards, and Bord Bia.

Previously at TallGrass Public Relations, he led PR efforts for B2B and emerging technology accounts and produced a CBS Digital podcast for the firm. At John Lee MEDIA, his clients included Crate & Barrel, the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, the Lyric Theatre of Belfast, and Breeders’ Cup Ltd.

He also served as Director of Communications & Media Relations for America’s premier thoroughbred racing circuit, the New York Racing Association.

Outside of GMI, Lee is the past president of the Irish Business Organization of New York and is a frequent speaker at Irish business and cultural events. He received his B.A. from Connecticut College and lives on Manhattan’s Upper West Side with his wife Loretta.
